💙💛 Peterborough Area Down’s Syndrome Group has been running for nearly 30 years. We are a parent-led, non-profit charity supporting families with a family member with Down’s syndrome in Peterborough and the surrounding areas. We rely entirely on donations, fundraising and grants. It costs around £1,200 a month to keep all our activities running for our community.

We are a self financing charity helping unwanted and stray cats, in the Peterborough Area, to find loving homes.

Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy, and Samaritans’ vision is that fewer people die by suicide. We believe that suicide is preventable.

We provide safe and stable refuge accommodation for women and children fleeing high risk domestic abuse potentially at risk of homicide. The refuge also has a dedicated provision for children and young people. Child Support Workers promote the welfare of children through providing appropriate levels of support to children e.g. helping children to cope with changes in their life.

Pete's Dragons provide immediate and specialist bereavement support across the county of Devon for all of those affected by suicide, whether it is an individual or a whole family, with no age limitation. Our team work together to ensure anyone in Devon & North Somerset impacted by suicide loss has access to our support.

Pets As Therapy facilitates visits by registered volunteers with their temperament assessed dogs and cats to establishments including hospitals, hospices, residential and nursing homes, and day care centres, bringing comfort, companionship and therapy into the lives of thousands of patients and residents.

PMSF UK is about providing a supportive inclusive community for those who have or know someone with Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (PMS). Phoenix Heroes CIC is a Community Interest Company based in Colchester, UK, that supports veterans by providing them with access to outdoor activities. The organisation was founded in 2018 by Gary Stockton, a veteran of the British Army, and it has since grown to become a respected provider of support to veterans in the UK.

Phyllis Tuckwell is the only Hospice Care service for adult patients, and their families, living with cancer or another terminal illness (such as heart, lung or neurological disease) across the whole of West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire.

PhysioNet collects surplus disability, mobility and medical equipment, refurbishes it, and distributes it to children and adults who lack access to such resources, regardless of race, religion or political affiliation.

Pieta first opened its doors in Lucan, County Dublin in 2006. Since then we have seen and helped over 60,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm. We now operate 20 locations across Ireland. Pieta now employs over 200 therapists and support staff, and the demand for our service is increasing.
