Redwings Horse Sanctuary
We are the UK's largest horse welfare charity! Our story begins, as it does for so many charities, with a small but committed group of people desperate to make a difference. For Redwings, the story began with the rescue of a single pony called Sheba. Her recovery inspired the formation of a sanctuary in 1984 dedicated to saving horses from a life of fear and neglect.
Refettorio Felix (St Cuthbert's Centre)
St Cuthberts Centre was set up in 1990 to relieve poverty, support mental health and wellbeing, and to promote social inclusion in Greater London. During weekdays, our charity provides a multi-course lunch from surplus food, free of charge to 350 marginalised adults per week. In addition, we have a Mental Health Coordinator, a counselling service, a network of support services and activities.
