Team Moon - Hopkins and volunteers

Team Moon is the community side of Extreme Psychiatry’s Run – Connect – Protect challenge.

Hopkins is building a team of volunteers to cover 477,710 miles - the distance to the Moon and back - between 1 August 2026 and 1 August 2045.

Anyone can join Team Moon. Run, walk or whizz in a wheelchair; every contribution matters. Create your own GiveWheel page within this team and connect Strava so your activities add to the team total.

Team Moon is racing alongside Team Earth, where Dr Strings is completing a solo 24,894-mile journey around the world. The two routes are separate, but both support the same shared £1 million fundraising campaign.

Extreme Psychiatry takes good mental health out of the clinic and into the big, wide world. We believe exercise, connection, feeling valued, time in nature and doing things you enjoy all matter.

Donating is always optional. Every donation made through this page supports the same eight charities and agreed split as the overall campaign.
