We are a well-established local charity, set up in 1976 and our main focus is to provide funding for research projects into all things kidney related – 300,000 in the North West alone suffer with chronic kidney disease and as it stands, whilst there are treatments (including a transplant) for kidney disease there is no cure.

kids4school is a multifaceted ministry which primarily enables children to go to school.

Out of sight of the world children are living lives of inexcusable and unimaginable hardship.

Kids Inspire is an Essex-based children’s mental health charity supporting children, young people and their families who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, and other worries. Our young people’s mental health has significantly suffered through the pandemic, and it continues to be the case.

We’re making a special space in nature for rest, to have fun and to be looked after. This means that (when Kids’ Village is complete) we’ll be able to offer free breaks to families who’ve navigated difficult and exhausting days in hospital, to experience some magic away from the world. Our charity friends will refer families to us for respite and we’ll take it from there.

Kilbryde Hospice is committed to excellence in the provision of compassionate care for patients, and their loved ones, facing life-limiting illness. Our team is dedicated to adding quality and meaning as they support patients in the final part of their life’s journey.

Kilimanjaro Young Girls in Need (KYGN) is a charity founded in 2006 to support children and families in Mabogini, near Moshi, in Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro region.  Education is a core part of our work, delivered through the Tumaini Foundation, a not-for-profit registered school providing pre-primary and primary education to 420 children. 

We are grassroots family orientated football club, who provide the opportunity for everyone to show their potential, develop their football and team building Skills, whilst raising their future aspirations, providing them with a safe place to learn and develop their life skills and values, such as respect for others and discipline.

K&D Befriending is a local registered charity that reduces social isolation for people over 55 in the Kincardine and Deeside area by matching them one‑to‑one with trained volunteer befrienders for regular companionship and support. These visits help improve mental and physical wellbeing by offering social contact, emotional support, and opportunities to stay connected with the community.

For over four decades our ethos has never changed – we believe that all children have the right to be the best they can and that it is our role to help facilitate this by providing experiences, activities and services which show them that they and life can be different and that they and life can be better.

When we started, we were predominately a soup kitchen offering a daily service throughout the pandemic but since then we have grown into much more. Alongside our extended soup kitchen in George Square 2 evenings per week (Monday and Wednesday from 7pm), we also provide support to encourage people into their own accommodation.

Our vision is that parents of children with complex needs in Scotland will have early access to peer-led support and information.

We make the best care for patients possible by raising money for cutting edge equipment and facilities, supporting our staff, innovative research and pioneering treatment.

We provide emergency food and practical support to people in their hardest moments. We also work with partners and local communities to ensure everyone gets the right help long before they need a food bank.

We provide independent information, support and advocacy to over 3,600 adult carers and nearly 800 young carers in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

We are dedicated to helping single people facing housing crises secure safe, stable accommodation and rebuild their lives. They provide specialised support, including housing advice, advocacy, and temporary accommodation (Access Project), focusing on non-judgmental empowerment to tackle the root causes of homelessness

Our community of supporters make Kingston Hospital a better place for patients, families and staff We work to improve the quality of care and the experience of everyone who comes to Kingston Hospital or uses the services it provides across the community. We want our local NHS to be the best it can be for patients, families and staff.

We provide wheelchair basketball sessions for all ages and abilities from 6+ both disabled and able bodied athletes welcome.

Kintail Mountain Rescue Team is a charitable organisation run entirely by volunteers. Our role is to support Police Scotland in delivering their public safety obligation in remote and mountainous environments. We are part of Scottish Mountain Rescue, which is made up of over 1000 volunteers throughout the country.
