Anam Cara provides monthly online and face-to-face group meetings throughout the island of Ireland. These are open to all bereaved parents with an emphasis on peer support. We also facilitate additional online bereavement support evenings with featured guests speakers who give an insightful talk about parental grief.

Anna's Hope

The Anna’s Hope Specialist Children’s Neuro Oncology Nurse works closely with each child in their care, along with their family throughout their treatment at the Children’s Cancer Unit at Addenbrookes Hospital. They also help coordinate support at home and school. It can be a frightening and confusing time, which is why our specialist nurse is on-hand to help.

In the UK approximately 720,000 pregnant women every year will be offered some form of screening test, such as an ultrasound scan and/or a blood test. As a result, over 20,000 expectant parents will be told that their baby may not be developing as expected. ARC is the only national charity helping parents and healthcare professionals through antenatal screening and its consequences.
