About New Futures Nepal
New Futures Nepal empowers disadvantaged children and adults of Nepal by raising funds for initiatives that promote health, education and independence. We support and advocate for social integration for children with disabilities to live in the community and within safe and loving homes. We adopt a hands-on, personal approach, keep our administration costs low and work with local organisations and charities in Nepal and worldwide to facilitate the charity’s goals and aims.
Your Impact
We support and fundraise for projects run by 4 main Nepali NGOs:
The Nirmala Foundation; Enabling disadvantaged and disabled individuals to live fulfilling lives in an inclusive environment dominated by the positive attitudes of their peers, families & carers, teachers, and communities. The Disabled Welfare Association (DWA); Responsible for the running of the Hope Centre (children's home) and Mandala House (assisted-living home for adults) located in a Municipality on the outskirts of Kathmandu. The Everest Mera Foundation; Who support rural communities in the Mahakulung region south of Mt. Everest and who are particularly concerned with supporting the education and well-being of children in the region (many of which are orphans) and families impacted by the Everest trekking industry. The Bhaktapur Parents Group; A self-help group caring for children with Cerebral Palsy in Nepal, who provide day-care and home-visit services.
