About Culcabock & Drakies Community Hall Association
Culcabock and Drakies Community Hall has been a cornerstone of our community for over 40 years, originally built through local fundraising efforts. It has long provided an affordable, welcoming space for youth clubs, fitness classes, and social groups, ensuring everyone - individuals and charities alike - could access it. Sadly, the hall has fallen into disrepair over the past decade and has been closed to new bookings for nearly a year. While we’ve made progress by replacing the roof and starting internal upgrades funded by an insurance claim, urgent external works to prevent damp and moisture must be completed before the refurbishment can continue. These essential repairs are not covered by insurance, and our funds are critically low. Without immediate support, we risk losing this vital community hub. Every donation brings us closer to reopening the hall and restoring a space that has served generations.
