Miles for More Tomorrows

Running 26.2 Miles Won’t Save Lives. But your donation can. In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon - not for the medal, but to support two cancers that urgently need more awareness, research, and hope. Why I Run Most people think a marathon is the ultimate test of endurance. The truth? Real endurance belongs to those living with cancer - the treatments, the uncertainty, the fight that doesn’t pause. I’m not running to prove strength. I’m running because too many people don’t get the chance to fight back. My Story Priyal - Running for Pancreatic Cancer UK In 2016, I lost my uncle to pancreatic cancer. There were no warning signs. By the time it was discovered, it was too late. He was young, full of life - and then suddenly gone. That’s the brutal reality of pancreatic cancer: it’s often diagnosed too late for treatment. I’m running for him, and for the research that could spare another family from hearing the words “there’s nothing more we can do.” Why I’m Also Supporting Sarcoma UK Sarcoma is a rare cancer most people have never heard of - until it affects someone they love. For those diagnosed, it changes everything. Alongside Pancreatic Cancer UK, this run also supports Sarcoma UK, the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to this cancer. They fund vital research, support patients and families, and work to ensure fewer people are left without answers. I’m running to help raise awareness today - and improve outcomes tomorrow. The Mission Two different cancers. Two dedicated charities. One shared goal: turning miles into more tomorrows. Your donation will be split: 53% → Pancreatic Cancer UK 47% → Sarcoma UK Because no one should face cancer alone - and neither should fundraising. The Impact of Your Donation Every mile will hurt. But nothing compares to hearing: no cure, no time, no options left. Your support helps change that: £10 → funds a helpline call for a family in crisis £50 → supports research into earlier diagnosis £100 → helps patients access specialist nurses The real finish line isn’t at mile 26.2. It’s when more people survive.
