Two ordinary guys. Mid-30s. Overweight. No running backgrounds.
And we’ve just signed up for one of the toughest endurance events on the planet — World’s Toughest Mudder: 24 hours of obstacles, pain, and pushing limits.
Why?
Not for medals. Not for ego.
But for something far bigger than us.
We’re doing this for the people who don’t get to choose their suffering.
For the children and families who walk a much harder path every single day.
For those supported by Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and The Christie – two charities that have stood beside some of our closest friends and loved ones through the darkest times.
Their courage, strength, and daily battles humble us.
Our pain — in training, in injury, in doubt — is nothing compared to what they face.
So every step, every blister, every early morning and setback is in their name and their honour.
This page will track our journey — raw, real, and unfiltered.
We’ll share the highs, the breakdowns, the small wins and the hard days.
Because if our suffering can raise awareness, raise funds, and raise hope — it will be worth every drop of sweat.
This is more than a fitness goal.
It’s a mission.
Join us. Support us. Cheer us on.
Let’s do something that truly matters.
