On 5th July, I’ll be tackling the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge—a 1,585 metre (5,200 feet) ascent over a 38.6 km (24-mile) route. To make it more fun, I will have 12 hours to complete the challenge!
I am raising money for The Guild of Friends of the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. As Treasurer, I’ve seen first hand the vital support this local charity provides.
The Guild of Friends, established in 1948, exists to bring a little joy and relief to seriously ill children and their families. From funding monthly ward entertainment and supplying playroom toys to paying for specialist equipment and offering essential financial support to low-income families—the Guild ensures that every donation goes straight towards supporting the patients of the hospital and their loved ones. We are run on an entirely voluntary basis by 9 committee members.
I’m taking on this epic challenge to help sustain the Guild's important work. Your support, big or small, will help bring laughter, relief, and essential equipment to young patients at BRHC. Thank you for your support!
