In Memory of Stephen Smyth

Victoria Smyth

We're heartbroken to share the news of Stephen Smyth's passing. Stephen, a beloved husband and father of four, left us too soon. Many of you will know Stephen from his dedicated service in the Royal Navy as a submariner, and more recently, for his vital work within the NHS.

Stephen was a man who committed his life to helping others, both through his service to our country and his invaluable contributions to healthcare. He leaves behind his devoted wife and four children, who are now navigating this incredibly difficult time.

To honor Stephen's memory and continue his legacy of compassion, we are raising funds that will be split equally between three charities that were incredibly close to his heart. These organizations represent causes he deeply believed in and supported throughout his life.

Stephen's funeral will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 30th, 2025, at Lelley Field Crematorium. Following the service, a wake will take place at The Railway Inn, New Ellerby. All who knew Stephen are welcome to attend and pay their respects.

Your generosity will not only help us celebrate the remarkable man Stephen was, but also support the causes he cared so deeply about. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.
