It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved friend, Sam. For those who had the privilege of knowing Sam, you’ll understand how deeply this loss is felt. Sam was more than a friend his kindness, laughter, and a heart that made room for everyone. Losing him has left a hole in our lives, but his spirit still inspires us every day.
To honor Sam's memory, On the 28th May 2025, Myself and some close friends of Sam will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge — climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon — in memory of someone who meant the world to us. The Three Peaks Challenge is no small feat, over 23 miles of hiking and nearly 10,000 feet of climbing across the UK’s highest mountains, but every step will be for him.
I’m raising funds in Sam’s name, and the proceeds will go towards, Midlands air ambulance service, British heart foundation and Help for heroes. Whether it's £1 or £100, every donation is a way to carry Sam’s memory forward and do something positive in the world, just like he did every day.
Hello everyone,
Firstly, a Sincere thank you to everyone who has generously supported this fundraising effort. Your donations, encouragement, and belief in the cause have been truly humbling.
We’re a group of Sam’s mates from A shift 99 Squadron, Royal Air Force. Climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales — all within 24 hours. It’s no easy feat, but we’re doing it for Sam. He was like family to us, and he’ll be deeply missed.
I am proud to be among these individuals who will be joining me in the National Three Peaks Challenge. Each member brings their own strengths and personal motivation to this challenge and together, we are united for Sam
