Howes Percival Charity Cycle Ride - 8th May 2025

Hugh Begley

Two teams from Howes Percival will be cycling to our Leicester office. One team will set off from our Cambridge office and the other will set off from our Milton Keynes office while picking up cyclists from our Northampton office along the way.
Our cyclists will be putting in serious effort and covering a lot of miles. All of this will be to raise funds and awareness for our following office charities, which make a real difference in our communities:

Headway Cambridge and Peterborough (Cambridge)
The Bridge (Leicester)
Al's Pals (Milton Keynes)
The Sick Children's Trust (Northampton)
The Sue Lambert Trust (Norwich)
Marie Curie (Oxford)

Al’s Pals is a service offered to all cancer patients. Al’s Pals is named after Alan Dumbell, who received cancer treatment at Milton Keynes University Hospital. Alan noticed that throughout his treatment, although he was surrounded by his loving family he still felt very lonely and lost at times and he often discussed having a ‘buddy’ to support and help him where he felt things were missing.
