On Sunday, 4 May 2025, a team of runners from Chambers are stepping up to the challenge of the AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run—all in loving memory of our dear friend and colleague, Lucy Atkins.

Lucy was a remarkable colleague, a bright spirit, and a cherished friend of Chambers. We are proud to run and raise funds for three incredible charities chosen by Lucy’s family: Birmingham Dogs Home, Crisis UK, and the Zambezi Sunrise Trust.

Each of these organisations play a vital role in their own right, and every penny raised will be split equally between them. So let’s make a real impact together! Further details can be found at:

The trust is dedicated to providing ongoing support to our projects through the provision of buildings, books, student needs, teaching materials, uniforms, sports and musical equipment, hygiene products and nutritional support. Our primary focus is on children but our support extends to women’s groups so that they are better able to support themselves and their children.
