Lots of people have asked if I’m seeking sponsorship for charity so here goes! I’m raising money for two charities. Firstly Spinal Research, I hope never to need this charity but it’s incredibly important and I was completely inspired by the epic challenge undertaken last year by Cycle4Caroline (www.cycle4caroline.com) and so I want to honour their efforts. Secondly Cancer Research in support of my family and friends whose lives have been touched by cancer.

Dagmar’s Nordenskiöldsloppet challenge

I’m attempting the longest cross country ski race in the world: the Nordenskiöldloppet in Swedish Lapland. It’s 220km - way further than I have skied before (95km) - and will include a new adventure of skiing through the long Nordic night. I don’t know if I can do it but will give it my best shot.
