Richard and Brad Hit the wall

We like a good challenge and running an Ultra Marathon from Carlisle to Newcastle, 77 miles, (100km) in 24 hours seems like a good local way to treat ourselves to some misery along with a good view on the way. It wouldn't be right to waste all that effort so we will be raising funds for Cancer Research and the World Owl Trust .

Cancer Research, because this horrible disease has attacked Family and friends constantly, for 12 years now. Some of them are still with us, others we have sadly lost. Funding more research is the best way find a permanent cure so we don't loose anyone else.
The World Owl Trust because it is developing a new Owl Centre just outside Penrith for the Conservation of Owls and the benefit of groups and communities who struggle to access the Outdoors. Who doesn't love an Owl?
