PACT – The Parents Association of Children with Tumours and Leukaemia

They offer support such as a free of charge, comfortable house for the families and siblings to use, within very close proximity to the hospital. The team support loved ones with sandwiches and refreshments throughout the week, enabling them to stay with their child, and reduce costs through such a difficult time.Family breaks are available in one of two caravans, offering a much-needed time for respite between or after treatment. PACT run regular bereavement coffee mornings to support and network the families who have lost a child to cancer, as well as assisting to fund materials and resources for the play specialists that spend time with the children under care, helping to keep them stimulated and aid recovery.
