9 years ago to the day I was diagnosed with blood cancer (broke the record for having the most white blood cells in the body on the Royal Stoke ward, fingers crossed no one has broke it since) at the age 13 and spent the next 3 and 1/2 years going through treatment. What was once the worst moment of my life is now just an incredibly small period.
Whilst it goes without saying that this wasn't a particularly pleasant experience, it shaped my life in a way that ultimately was for the better, I wouldn't be where I am today and met so many amazing people without this shaping my life in the way that it did. Although my joints being terrible because of it is something I could do without/
Ultimately I look back on this and remember the good stuff to come out of it: • A charity called Supershoes created a pair of custom converse shoes which I then wore everywhere for the next 5 years. • And I got to watch the El Classico (arguably the biggest match in club football at the time)
Because of this I want to try and raise money for the charity's that helped me through everything, so this page is set up with all the money raised going towards the Make-a-Wish foundation and Make-A-Wish foundation.
Thank you to everyone for being amazing
