Bridge to Freedom Walk: Supporting Women Facing Gambling Addiction

🚶‍♀️ On Saturday, May 10th, a group of women and their families will take to the streets of London, walking across seven iconic bridges in the Bridge to Freedom Walk.

This powerful walk is more than just a journey across the city—it’s a symbol of resilience, recovery, and hope. It raises awareness about the support available to women struggling with gambling addiction and highlights the importance of breaking free from its grip.

This year’s walk follows the success of last year’s inaugural event and represents a journey towards freedom—getting to the other side of addiction and reclaiming life.

Why This Walk Matters
Gambling addiction is often called the "hidden addiction." Within that, the struggles of women—both those who gamble and those affected by the gambling of others—are even less visible. While more women are reaching out for help, much more needs to be done to ensure they receive the right support, treatment, and environment to rebuild their lives.
By joining or supporting this walk, you’re helping to change that. Every step taken and every pound raised will contribute to life-changing resources for women and families affected by gambling harm.

Where Your Donations Go
Funds raised will support incredible organizations dedicated to helping individuals and families impacted by gambling addiction. Your contribution will enable:
✔️ Access to specialised treatment and counselling
✔️ Safe spaces and peer support networks for women
✔️ Education and awareness initiatives to prevent gambling harm
With your help, more women will be able to reclaim their futures, rebuild their confidence, and regain control of their lives.
