In memory of my Father, Keith Milburn, we will be taking on a few Challenges in 2025 to raise funds for Eden Valley Hospice, Hospice at Home Carlisle And North Lakeland and Pancreatic Cancer.
Firstly there are a number of us that will be completing a weight loss challenge....currently we have lost well over 100lbs between us!!!
On Fathers Day, June 15th, I will attempt to play 4 rounds of Golf in a day (over 20miles of walking). Starting at Stoneyholme, then Carlisle GC, Eden GC and the last round will be at Brampton GC where between our family we have had over 125 years of great times.
I am also going to attempt 4 x 1/2 marathons starting in Newcastle in July, Edinburgh in August, Great North Run in September and finishing with The Cumbrian Run in October. It will be 40 years since me and my brother ran our first 1/2 marathon with Dad.
We, also, have a Golf Day planned at Brampton Golf Club on Saturday August 9th.
Eden Valley Hospice and Hospice At Home were amazing with the care, support and help they provided while Dad endured his short illness and we would like to raise much needed funds.
