Rob’s London Marathon 2025

Rob Pardon

Back in the summer of 2024 I got ‘the email’ saying CONGRATULATIONS - YOU ARE IN… making me one of the lucky few to secure a ballot place at the London Marathon 2025.

Of course, with a ballot place, fundraising is not required, however…

1) A bit of added motivation is always useful

2) Why would I not - even if it’s only a few quid, every little helps

I planned to run for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation supporting those suffering with MND and contributing to the research for better treatment (or hopefully even a cure).

Then, in November, a close friend had some news that has turned his family’s life upside down. So I wanted to also support a charity that has supported the Fewsters. ❤️ Young Lives v Cancer

So, as a result, two great charities will benefit if you feel like you want to support.

No fundraising pressure or targets, and no silly ‘Challenge Bob’ antics (although, never say never, I’m always open to offers 😉)

Let’s go

  • I understand that if Gift Aid claimed in the tax year is more than income and capital gains tax I must pay HMRC the difference.
