On the longest day of 2025 (Saturday 21st June) we will be taking part in an epic cycling challenge known as Chase the Sun - South. This is an organised ride that will take us from Minster on the Isle of Sheppey to the Grand Pier on Weston Super Mare seafront. This ride will be a total of 205 miles (329km) - oh plus the 10 miles we need to cycle to the start! The idea is that we will set off from the starting line at about 4:30 am (sunrise) with the goal of arriving at the finish point in Weston Super Mare by 9:30 pm (sunset). Although you can take part in this event as a team we have decided to both complete the full ride!
To give us some extra motivation we have chosen to raise money for two charities, both charities are close to our hearts due to personal reasons. As they have provided so much support to people we love we would love to give something back to them. We have created this page and all donations will be split equally between the two charities.
