The World's Toughest Row 2026 - Charity Fundraising

We are the Coastal Commanders - three airline captains taking on 40 days of non-stop rowing across the Atlantic to raise funds for Young Lives vs Cancer and Move Against Cancer. A Personal Mission Cancer has touched our team personally. Jon, was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2019. His journey motivates us to support young people facing cancer. The Challenge Over 40 days, we will row 3000 miles across the open ocean, facing sleep deprivation, and harsh weather. It will be a true test of our endurance, teamwork and mental strength. How Your Donations Help Young Lives vs Cancer is dedicated to supporting young cancer patients and their families through every step of their journey. Facing cancer is an immense challenge for any family, and Young Lives vs Cancer works to ease that burden by offering emotional, practical, and financial support. From providing families with a comforting place to stay close to their child in treatment, to offering guidance and resources, the charity ensures no one has to face cancer alone. The message from Move Against Cancer is clear: “Exercise is one of the most important things anyone diagnosed with cancer can do to enhance well-being and improve health outcomes.” Move Against Cancer empowers those affected by cancer to live active, fulfilling lives through initiatives like: 5K Your Way; personalised 1:1 cancer rehab sessions and expert resources and guidance. Support Us Support our Atlantic row and make a life-changing difference for children and young people living with cancer. Every contribution brings hope and helps young people thrive despite cancer.
