30 Day Surf Challenge for The Wave Project and Medical Aid for Palestinians

I started properly learning to surf in June 2023 and it has completely changed my life. The mental health benefits are undeniable: spending time outdoors in nature and in the water, physical exercise, a sense of community and reduced social isolation.

Which is why I am so inspired by the The Wave Project (https://www.waveproject.co.uk/what-we-do/surf-therapy-2/) and their mission to help as many children as possible through surf therapy sessions.
From the 20th September I have to complete a daily surf which means at least one hour of surfing in the sea or if not possible, at the Wave in Bristol. I wanted to challenge myself in a way that I have never done before and I hope you will join me in supporting this amazing cause.
EDIT: The news and social media feeds of horrific scenes of ongoing genocide in Gaza has made me rethink this challenge and I have decided to split any proceeds donated and give half to Medical Aid for Palestinians https://www.map.org.uk/get-involved/get-involved.
We should value the lives and mental health of people, and particularly children, around the world.
To make up for any potential funds which have been diverted from TWP I will personally match 100% of the total donation by 20 October 2024.
