A homelessness project by Comms for Good

For our 2024-2025 campaign we will be targeting homelessness. We will shine a light on the work of two small charities that are helping change the course of people's lives.

Shelter from the Storm - offers a free bed for the night, hot food, counselling, English lessons and a sense of community for those who need it
Street Storage - a safe and practical storage solution for people with no place to leave treasured items and documents

At the end of 2023 at least 309,000 people were currently experiencing homelessness. Despite this overwhelming number, there is little to no provision for people to keep their belongings safe from the constant threat of theft and damage. We believe every person sleeping on the street deserves the right to free, safe, and accessible storage for their most treasured items and documents.
