Swimming the English Channel is an incredible physical and mental feat that requires intense training, endurance, and resilience. The English Channel is notorious for its unpredictable weather, strong currents, and cold temperatures, making it one of the most challenging endurance swims in the world. In fact, more people have climbed Mount Everest than swam the English Channel, which speaks to the sheer difficulty of this incredible feat.
Despite these challenges, I have decided to take on this incredible challenge to support two incredible charities: Make a Wish and the Fine and Country Foundation. Make a Wish is an organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses, bringing them hope and joy during difficult times. The Fine and Country Foundation, on the other hand, works to combat homelessness and poverty, providing essential support to those who are struggling to make ends meet.
By supporting these two amazing charities through my swim, I hope to make a real difference in the lives of those who are in need. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live a fulfilling life, and by supporting these charities, we can help to make that a reality.
So I am asking for your support in this incredible endeavor. Your donation will help to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most, and it will help to motivate me to push through the challenges of the English Channel swim. Every little bit helps, so please consider donating today and helping to make a positive impact on the world. Thank you!

What a Saturday down in Bournemouth, this 6 hour swim was tough! Harsh conditions and very very cold! 😝😝

Just completed an epic training swim for the English Channel! 🌊🏊♀️ Swam a total of 27.4km in 8 hours and feeling strong 💪 This swim was definitely a challenge, but it's all worth it to achieve my goal of crossing the channel. Can't wait to see what the next training session brings!

A little late in giving to this fine cause. Your proud Mum was showing off the photos of your race at work this week which reminded me to get this done. Congratulations

Harry Best wishes for a successful swim tomorrow. I have swimming bathers that look like yours but for some reason it does not help me get more than 1 length of the swimming pool. Could it be my technique!! I will sponsor you £1 per nautical kilometre you swim. I assume that’s 50 kilometres unless the tide takes you off course. I am more worried about your Dad. Is he safe in a boat? He might be able to do long division, but can he swim? I will add £10 for every time your Dad throws up on the boat and another £10 if there is a picture of him in his budgie smugglers on the French side!! Hope goes well. Regards Alun

Make-A-Wish is very dear to my heart, as I used to work for them in the USA. They bring so much joy to suffering children and their families. What an exceptional person you are Harry to want to do this to raise funds. I am very happy to support you and wish you all the best for this grueling challenge.
