I will be hopefully completing by 100th event of half marathon above on the 13th October 2024 at the Chicago Marathon. This has consisted of 64 half marathons, 29 marathons (30 Chicago pending) 6 ultra marathons) since March 2014Also I have ran at least 5km a day for year back in 2023 including 18 events above half marathon. My next aim is the complete 100 marathons including and hit 200 events above half marathon distance
The reason why I want to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association is - I watched my nana suffer with motor neurone disease when I was 12 years old. It was horrible seeing her not being able to breathe without oxygen tanks and home bound. She lost her humanity she was not able to do anything for herself. She was only 57 years old when she passed away still plenty more to give in this life.
The reason why Prostate Cancer UkMy grampa died of this cruel disease due to due not knowing the symptoms he had could be related to prostate cancer. By time he aware of the it was too late. incurable. My grandad survived because of the ongoing research developments that had come out since my grampa passing. But still there needs to be more research and more awareness about it. Especially knowing you can it still get you when your young.
