Releasing my first single in honour of my Grandad, supporting Macmillan and Neuroendocrine Cancer UK

I'm a procrastinator - constantly putting things off until 'tomorrow'. I've been a songwriter and composer since I was 12 years old, and I've always talked about releasing my first single. At long last, I'm taking the plunge - inspired by, and in honour of, my wonderful Grandad. My Grandad was diagnosed with a rare Neuroendocrine Cancer in 2022, and I want my Grandad to see me doing the things I've always said I would. After all, tomorrow isn't promised, it is a gift.

I want to encourage others to take charge of their dreams TODAY, and I couldn't think of a better way to do that than, by example: releasing my first single, while simultaneously raising money, and awareness, for Macmillan Cancer Support, and Neuroendocrine Cancer UK.

In 2022 alone, Macmillan reached an estimated 2 million people with cancer. Fundraising for Macmillan funds research and generates essential resources, for supporting people living with cancer.

Neuroendocrine Cancer UK exists to address the unmet needs voiced by the Neuroendocrine Cancer community and to support patients and their loved ones with the physical and psychological burden of Neuroendocrine cancers.

I'd love to be able to support these charities equally.

I will be releasing my song 'Fly like a Phoenix' (and music video), on May 28th, 2024.

I wrote and composed 'Fly like a Phoenix' when I was 15 years old. Around 2017, Peter John-Vettese, an incredible musician and producer, recorded and produced this single with me. My dad filmed my music video later that year, which was then edited by me (I look slightly different now, compared to when I was 16/17!😂🫶).

I hope you enjoy my song, and that it inspires you to live, and love, today.

I am eternally grateful for all your support in my endeavour to raise money for Macmillan and Neuroendocrine Cancer UK.

Get ready for May 28th!
