Edinburgh Marathon and Running Festival

The Fulljames-Gannon family is running in the Edinburgh Marathon festival to raise funds for three carefully chosen charities:
Lily and Freya (aged 9) are each running a 2k
George (aged 11) is running a 5k
Rachel is running a 10k and I am competing in the full marathon!

Each of the charities has a strong personal connection with our family -

Born Too Soon:

Our daughters Lily and Freya were born 10 weeks prematurely and spent the first 7 weeks of their lives being cared for on the Kingston hospital neonatal unit. Funds raised for Born Too Soon goes towards buying vital life saving equipment for the unit where they have looked after more than 15,000 babies

The Royal Marsden:

The Royal Marsden is a world leading cancer centre where my brother Neil has received ongoing treatment and care over the last seven years. The associated cancer charity supports life-saving research, investment into state of the art equipment and world leading patient treatment and care

Thames Hospice:

Sadly Rachel's beloved mother Carol passed away in March after a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. The Thames Hospice, which provides specialist palliative and end of life care services, supported Carol, Rachel and her sisters with kindness and compassion both at home and then in the hospice itself in her final few weeks.
