Dear friends,

Along with roughly 300 other people, I will be plodding my way along Aberdeen Airport runway on Saturday 3rd September 2022 to raise funds for 3 great local charities;

- Kayleigh's Wee Stars (https://www.kayleighsweestars.co.uk)

For the night, the runway at Aberdeen Airport will be closed to allow 300 runners the chance to run 3.5km in the dark along the runway. This is a unique opportunity to run somewhere different and it is the 3rd occasion the event will take place.
Each runner has pledged to raise at least £100 in donations - when it last took place in 2019 participants raised an incredible £70,000!!!
Friends of ANCHOR were a great support for a close family member and also friends who have went through cancer diagnosis' and treatment, and they have been doing amazing worth throughout the COVID pandemic. The Anchored Together Appeal to raise funds for the new Baird Family Hospital and ANCHOR Centre has reached £1.5 million, but there is still £0.5 million to be raised to reach their target.

I know things are a bit tough just now but if you can spare just a few pounds to go towards these very worthy local causes it would be very much appreciated.
