Jebel Toubkal Challenge 2024
On 21st June 2024, a team of 6 brain tumour survivors, and their support crew, will begin their challenge to summit Jebel Toubkal. At 4,167m, it is the highest peak in North Africa.
Their mission: to raise awareness of the long term impact of living with a brain tumour diagnosis, and raise funds for The Beyond Recovery Project, and BANA - The British Acoustic Neuroma Association, the only charity in the UK which supports individuals with an Acoustic Neuroma/Vestibular Schwannoma brain tumour.
The team have been training incredibly hard over the last 6 months or so, and every single one of them has had to overcome many challenges along the way. They are an inspiration to anyone else out there living with with a brain tumour, showing that even with this diagnosis, you can still achieve amazing things.
Please support them and make a donation. Every penny will change lives.

They did it!
At 12 noon, on 23rd June, the team summitted Jebel Toubkal (4,167m). Not only that, but the following day they reached another 3,600m peak, Jebel Alguezim. It was really tough, with a couple of the team experiencing the effects of altitude, along with the usual fatigue and nausea. We are so proud of them, and thankful to everyone who has supported them on this journey.
