11 mile swim across the longest lake in the country!

In late August, I'll be embarking on a mission, swimming the challenging 11 miles across Lake Windermere in memory of cherished individuals who left indelible marks on not just my life but many peoples – Liz Farmer, my beloved mother-in-law; Myron Jackiw, an amazing cousin; and Jamie Danks, a very close friend.

This undertaking is not just a physical challenge but a heartfelt tribute to honor their memories. Bury Hospice, a beacon of compassion, provided invaluable end-of-life care to Liz, and the angels within this organization left an everlasting impact.

Additionally, I am supporting Andy's Man Club, a vital initiative committed to addressing and assisting men facing mental health struggles. In memory of Myron and Jamie, who, tragically, succumbed to their inner battles, I believe in the power of conversation and support.

Through this swim, I aim to raise funds for these incredible causes, Bury Hospice and Andy's Man Club, to ensure others receive the care and support they need during challenging times.
