Harrogate Ring Way Walk

To celebrate my 25th year in business I want to support 2 local charities, Time Together and Supporting Older People both based in my home town Harrogate.

I will be walking the Harrogate Ring Way on 2nd Aug 2024 - approx 23 miles and expected to take roughly 9 hours. I am looking forward to my challenge and hope to raise as much as I can for these 2 charities which provide a great service within my community.

TIme Together support adults with disabilities and autism live better lives within our community offering one-to-one help. Alongside one-to-one work they facilitate a variety of inclusive groups, clubs, trips and events.

Supporting Older People core work is a befriending scheme. They recruit and support suitable volunteers who then visit older isolated people on a regular basis helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation often experienced by older people living on their own. They also organise social activities, outings and events.
