Thanks for taking the time to visit my GiveWheel page and supporting my chosen charities - Different Strokes and Prostate Cancer UK.
On 14th May 2026 I suffered a rare type of stroke and brain bleed. This resulted in a week long induced coma, followed by a goal driven recovery and rehabilitation period. I have been determined to make the best recovery I can. It started the day I woke from the coma, where I began learning to talk, walk and eat again. I have now built this up to the paint where I am embarking on a challenge to run 50 miles throughout November. Please follow this link to read more about my story:

I have chosen to fundraise for two charities.
The first is Different Strokes. It is remarkable how many young, working age people suffer from strokes. Different Strokes aims to support younger people, and their families, to navigate this hugely difficult time. They were particularly helpful to me by providing support and guidance for my three teenage children.
The other charity is Prostate Cancer UK who support many people and their families who are suffering from Prostate Cancer.
This challenge of running 50 miles across November is a very emotional one for me having gone from a time where I did not know if I could walk again, to now being able to run.
