"The Wider Circle"...a Treehouse Life giving program

Treehouse Life International, the UK's longest-established treehouse company, has launched "The Wider Circle", a founder-led giving partnership with two youth charities - Snow Camp and Stop.Breathe.Think.
Every treehouse we build begins with a child and someone who loves them, together imagining something bigger than everyday life. Our wonderful clients have enjoyed amazing family and childhood experiences, and might, we hope, now wish to be part of "The Wider Circle".
Over nearly 25 years, I have watched that wonder change children. I have seen the moment a small person climbs into something extraordinary and understands, perhaps for the first time, that the world can hold something made just for them. Not every child gets that moment. That is the truth I could not stop sitting with, and it is the reason I am here, on this page, asking for your help.
"The Wider Circle" looks both ways. It gives every new client the chance to share a little of the wonder of childhood and family time as part of their commission, with Treehouse Life matching each new client donation pound for pound and using the matched fund to unlock further fundraising. It also invites the families Treehouse Life has worked with over 25 years to share a little of the wonder they have enjoyed, through this page.
Snow Camp takes young people from communities where opportunity is scarce and takes them on a journey from indoor snow centres to finally being on a mountain - and along the way helps them discover what they are capable of. They have supported over 24,000 young people to date; gaining qualifications, training, confidence and a new direction. Stop.Breathe.Think reaches children and young people aged 8 to 24 who are struggling quietly with their mental health - and gives them someone to talk to when it is needed most. Without the wait, without the cost and without the judgment. To date the charity has supported more than 4,000 young people and delivered over 25,000 counselling sessions with 92 percent of those young people saying their mental health improved.
In understanding this amazing work, I recognised something immediately. We are trying to do the same thing. We just use different mountains. At Snow Camp, young people arrive having never seen a mountain and leave as qualified instructors. "Take a child somewhere extraordinary, and they come back believing something extraordinary about themselves." Treehouse Life lifts children into the trees for adventure and imagination. It is the same instinct, at a different height.
Stop.Breathe.Think starts from the belief that every child and young person should have someone to talk to when they ask for help - not years later. For Treehouse Life, it is the same wonder made wider. Set these two visions side by side and you have the two halves of a whole childhood: the freedom to play, and the safety to be heard.
This partnership, "The Wider Circle", exists because wonder should not be a privilege. If a treehouse has ever meant something to your family, or if you simply believe that the right experience at the right moment can change a life, then this is the place to put that belief.
