OH. MY. GOD !!!!

I can't actually believe I'm writing this, but I've been lucky enough to get a ballot place for the LONDON MARATHON. I'm so unfit, not run anywhere for 10 years and in the next 8 months have to get my slightly aged body ready for a jaunt around London! A 26 MILE JAUNT AROUND LONDON!!!!
I have decided to fundraise for 2 small, local charities that mean an enormous amount to me.
Firstly, Aura, a charity based in Congleton that provides 1 to 1 counselling services. When I was poorly a few years ago, their incredible service helped me put myself back together and helped me get my life back. I will be forever indebted to them and I am honoured to now be on of their Trustees.
Secondly, Sandbach Animal Rescue. I have followed this local cat rescue for a number of years and have recently started fostering for them. As many of you know, cats have been a lifelong love of mine with feral cats being a particular passion and the rescue's Trap Neuter Return programmes are really close to my heart.
I recognise times are tough for everyone at the moment, but if you feel you could give to these exceptional organisations, I would be so grateful...and so would they. Every penny really DOES make a difference to small charities.
Right, well, after all that, I should probably go for a run...!!!
