Team Earth - Dr Strings

Team Earth is the solo side of Extreme Psychiatry’s Run – Connect – Protect challenge.

Dr Strings is running 24,894 miles - the distance around the world - between 1 August 2026 and 1 August 2045.

There is only one runner in Team Earth: Dr Strings. This is the page for following the journey, cheering from the comfort of your sofa and supporting our shared £1 million fundraising campaign.

Want to contribute your own miles? Team Moon is the open community team, where people can run, walk or whizz in a wheelchair towards the Moon and back.

Extreme Psychiatry takes good mental health out of the clinic and into the big, wide world. We believe exercise, connection, feeling valued, time in nature and doing things you enjoy all matter.

Donating is always optional. Every donation made through this page supports the same eight charities and agreed split as the overall Extreme Psychiatry campaign.
