The TAM Charity Ride is an annual European cycling event that brings together the wealth and asset management community to support truly worthwhile causes.
This year, more than 100 riders will cycle 360km from Vienna to Budapest, with a collective goal of raising £100,000 for Action Medical Research – a remarkable UK charity dedicated to saving and changing children's lives through pioneering medical research.
As fathers of two children each, this charity is one that resonates deeply with both of us. Like any parent, we want our children to have the healthiest, happiest start in life and the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Sadly, for many families, serious illness and disability can turn everyday life into an unimaginable challenge.
Action Medical Research funds vital research into diseases and conditions that affect babies, children and young people, helping to develop treatments and medical breakthroughs that give families hope when they need it most. Their work has played a part in transforming countless young lives, but there is still so much more to be done.
That's why we're taking on this challenge. While 360km will certainly test our legs, it is nothing compared with the daily challenges faced by the children and families this charity supports.
We would be incredibly grateful for your support in helping us achieve our fundraising target of £2,000. Every donation, no matter the size, will help Action Medical Research continue its life-changing work and support children and families in need.
