Help Equip Essex Cricket’s New Sensory Room

Essex Cricket is creating a dedicated sensory room to help make matchdays more accessible and enjoyable for children, families and supporters with sensory needs.

For some people, the noise, crowds and excitement of a busy cricket ground can become overwhelming. The sensory room will provide a calm, welcoming space where supporters can take a break, regulate and feel safe, while still being able to enjoy the matchday experience with their family.

EASST has supported inclusive sport across Essex for more than 20 years, and we are proud to be helping Essex Cricket equip this important new facility.

We are asking supporters to help us raise £1,500 towards specialist sensory equipment, including calming lighting, comfortable seating, weighted items, tactile resources, sensory toys and other equipment designed to create a reassuring and supportive environment.

Every donation made to this campaign will be matched by EASST, up to a total of £1,500.

That means:

£10 becomes £20
£25 becomes £50
£50 becomes £100

If we reach our £1,500 fundraising target, together we will provide £3,000 towards equipping the sensory room.
