KGS DEBRA Silent Auction

This September, Kingston Grammar School's Third Year is holding a silent auction in aid of DEBRA, the charity supporting people living with epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a group of rare and painful genetic conditions that leave the skin as fragile as a butterfly's wings.
The auction grew out of the students' English transactional writing unit in English lessons. Each pupil researched a public figure they admire and wrote, redrafted and handwrote a persuasive formal letter requesting the donation of a 'money can't buy' item.

The response has been remarkable, with pieces generously pledged by a range of donors, including Charlie Mackesy, Billie Eilish, Jacqueline Wilson, Alex Horne, James Dyson and Graeme Souness.

Alongside the auction, original student-designed stationery celebrating the art of letter writing is on sale to raise funds for DEBRA. Purchase a notebook (£8), greetings card (£3) or bookmark (£1) from the School Shop.
