Epic walk for suicide prevention

Suicide is a national public health emergency. Up to 25% of the population will struggle with suicidal thoughts and 8% will make a suicide attempt in their lifetime. It remains the leading cause of death for those under 35 in the U.K.
Over August and September I am walking the South West Coast Path to raise money for charities working to prevent suicide and support those bereaved by it.  In 43 days I will cover 630 miles and ascend four times the height of Everest.  I will be camping overnight and carrying all my gear with me.
A heartfelt thank you if you are able to donate to these amazing charities doing such vital and life-saving work.

We are the only organisation offering peer-to-peer support to all those over the age of 18, impacted by suicide loss in the UK. We help those bereaved by suicide to support each other, at the time of their loss and in the months and years that follow. We are a self-help organisation and we provide a safe, confidential environment in which bereaved people can share their experiences and feelings.
