When Lola was born at just 23 weeks—four months early—the odds were heartbreaking. She faced a 50% chance of surviving her first day and as little as a 1% chance of ever coming home. For six months in neonatal intensive care at both UCLH and Great Ormond Street Hospital, Lola fought for every breath.


Today, eight years later, Lola is thriving. Her miracle was made possible by the extraordinary neonatal teams at UCLH and Great Ormond Street Hospital, and the vital support of Early Lives and the GOSH Charities.
