Finlay Charity Challenge 2026

One Team. One Summit. One Goal.
On Tuesday 8th September 2026, the global Finlay team will come together in Ballycastle for our Finlay Charity Challenge 2026, raising funds for three incredible charities:
- Marie Curie
- Children's Heartbeat Trust
- The Little Princess Trust
The centrepiece of our fundraising campaign is the Knocklayde Challenge.
Starting directly from the Marine Hotel in Ballycastle, the Finlay team will take on a demanding 13.5km hike to the summit of Knocklayde Mountain, standing 516 metres (1,692 feet) above the Causeway Coast. The route combines forest trails, open hillside and a rewarding summit climb, with spectacular views across the North Coast, Rathlin Island and, on a clear day, Scotland.
This challenge is about more than reaching the summit. It is an opportunity for colleagues from across our global business to come together, support one another, and raise funds for charities that are close to the hearts of the Finlay team.
Alongside the hike, we will also hold our 595 charity challenge. A 5.9km-a-day for 5 days run or walking challenge across the wider Terex Omagh site for employees, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Finlay 595 Heavy Duty Grid.
Why These Charities?
Together, our chosen charities provide care, support and hope to people facing some of life's most difficult challenges.
- Marie Curie provides expert care and support for people living with terminal illness and their families.
- Children's Heartbeat Trust supports children and young people living with heart disease and their families.
- The Little Princess Trust provides free real-hair wigs to children and young people while also funding childhood cancer research.
How Your Donation Helps
All donations received through this campaign will be divided equally between the three charities.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us make a positive impact and support the incredible work carried out by these organisations.
Thank you for supporting the Finlay Charity Challenge 2026 and helping us reach our goal.
