Having sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury in October 2020, I was in a coma for a month and subsequently had to learn how to talk and walk again.
I was a keen runner beforehand and even had a Good For Age London marathon place for the year following my accident.
Since coming round, my big, seemingly unachievable goal was to run the London Marathon.
It's been a long journey, but I'm incredibly fortunate to now be in a position where I plan to run the marathon in 2024 (along with my dad, Chris).
I AM DOING IT!
Whilst I've faced challenges in the last few years, I have always had a roof over my head and clean water coming out of a tap.
WaterAid and Crisis are two AMAZING charities.
The work that they both do makes an ENORMOUS difference to those both at home and abroad in otherwise unbearable situations.
I am proud to be able to raise money for them.
Please give whatever you can.
NO amount is too small.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
