Match Funding: Marlow & District Boathouse HRR Fundraiser

The Borlase Boys' and Girls' Quads have had a great season, culminating in their performances at this year's Henley Royal Regatta.  The Girls made it though their first round against Maidenhead but lost on Thursday to a strong crew from Shrewsbury School.   The Boys defeated George Watson's College before turning over hot favourites, The Windsor Boys's School, in the race of the day on Friday.  On the Saturday they lost by just 2/3 of a length to Leander Club.

Who knows how much further they could have gone if their boats were kept in a boathouse and have changing facilities and access to hot and cold water?  That's one of the three foci of the Marlow & District Schools Boathouse Trust:
1) To provide a home for the two state schools in Marlow for the first time in 100 years
2) To forge stronger links between the two secondary schools
3) To make rowing more accessible to young people in the High Wycombe area
