Pete’s ‘Big C’ Challenge

No surprise that my challenge isn’t cycling, running or getting muddy – my challenge this year has been battling Cancer.

Hopefully this deserves a donation already…
On 8th May I had a hemicolectomy – which basically means a surgeon removed half of my large intestine, with a 10-12cm (!) tumour still in there.
After recovering from the surgery, on June 23rd I started a 3 month course of Chemotherapy; Intravenous drips and pills, along with some of the joyous side effects.

I’ll be doing various fundraising through the rest of 2026, plus giving my own – for 4 (of the many) amazing organisations who work relentlessly, for people who get Cancer.

PLEASE support my efforts, by donating some of your hard-earned cash we can help others less fortunate than me, in their battle with ‘the big C’.

Thanks!
