HMS Eaglet Birchwood 10k Fundraiser

Members of HMS Eaglet / Ship’s Company are taking part in the Birchwood 10k on Sunday 23rd August 2026, raising funds for two fantastic charities:

The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and Zoe’s Place.

All funds raised through this page will be split 50/50 between both charities.

This year marks the 5th consecutive year that Team EAGLET has entered the Birchwood 10k. Over the years, this event has become a brilliant opportunity for experienced runners, new runners, and everyone in between to come together, support each other, and take on a challenge as a team.


For some, Birchwood may be another race in the calendar. For others, it may be their first ever organised running event. Either way, the aim is the same: to encourage participation, build confidence, support fitness, and raise money for causes that matter.


The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity supports Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Fleet Auxiliary personnel and their families, past, present and future. As members of the Royal Naval Reserve, this is a cause close to us and one we are proud to support.


Zoe’s Place provides specialist care and support for babies and young children with complex illnesses and disabilities, as well as support for their families.


Whether running, cheering, supporting on the day, or helping spread the word, this fundraiser is about teamwork, service, community and giving something back.
