RGS Pilgrims' Challenge 2026

We want to raise awareness for young people's mental and physical health by undertaking the Pilgrims Challenge and raising money for The Max Windle Memorial Trust and Great Ormond Street Hospital. This year, a group of Lower Sixth students are walking 54km from Great Ormond Street Hospital to Guildford. In 2021 we at RGS Guildford suffered a painful loss when Lower Sixth student Max Windle took his own life. Every year since then, his parents have been working to raise mental health awareness through the Max Windle Memorial Trust while our other charity, Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital is dedicated to offering life-changing help to young children with rare physical conditions. Please give generously for our cause.

The Max Windle Memorial Trust (MWMT) aims to improve young people's mental health by raising awareness and providing support for depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention. It specifically funds local and national projects to ensure no young person suffers alone, while also educating parents and teachers.
