The Restoration Rangers Charity Soap Box Racer!

You may have heard that the BDMA Soapbox gravity racing team, the Restoration Rangers, will return in 2026!
Founded in 2025, the Restoration Rangers are proud to represent the British Damage Management Association (BDMA) in support of the charities we are fundraising for.
Recognising the importance of STEM skills within our industry, a group of dedicated technicians, BDMA members and a few unsuspecting volunteers came together to create a gravity racing team that combines innovation, teamwork, and community spirit.
Over the winter break, the engineering departments of the Restoration Ranger's team have been working on improving the aerodynamics of the kart. This includes a new shape for the nose cone, and new ultra-slick tyres kindly donated by Greenan cycles. With these technical adjustments, we aim to beat our 2025 Silver medal and go for gold!
Every member of our team is a volunteer, giving their time and passion to make a difference. Please support our fundraising efforts and help us create a lasting impact.
The team have three events scheduled for 2026: the Humber Bridge Soapbox race taking place on 20 June, followed by Hunstanton and Colchester in September.
This year, we are proud to be raising funds for 4 charities: Motor Neurone Disease Association, The Feed, Walking With The Wounded, and Hull 4 Heroes. The BDMA fully funds the soapbox's technical developments and entry fees to the events.
We are excited to announce that sponsorship packages for the BDMA Soapbox 2026 are now officially open! Sponsoring the Soapbox is a fantastic chance to get involved and support 4 charities through one donation! All monies raised will go directly to our four nominated charities.
