Aiming to raise funds for three very worthwhile charities:

Children with Cancer UK is the leading childhood cancer charity in the UK, supporting families and childhood cancer research since 1988. CwC UK finds new ways to identify cancer in children and young people, and better, kinder ways to treat them meaning more will survive without the life-inhibiting side effects that can often come with remission.

Vasculitis UK is the UK's leading vasculitis charity, helping and supporting people with vasculitis to improve outcomes. VUK sponsors research into the causes and treatment of vasculitis and works to raise awareness of all types of vasculitis. This is a disease with often non-specific symptoms which can mimic other more common conditions. This means diagnosis can be missed or delayed for some time. Yet it is essential to obtain a diagnosis of vasculitis as early as possible to enable appropriate treatment and avoid permanent organ damage. I am supporting this charity as a result of my mother dying from this disease at the early age of 62.

World Land Trust World Land Trust works with local partner organisations across the world to protect and restore some of the planet’s most threatened habitats helping to safeguard biodiversity strengthen resilience, and protect the natural systems that support life on Earth. WLT is working to protect threatened habitats, expand reserves and restore priority forests and wildlife corridors in Africa. Africa is home to around 25% of the world’s biodiversity meaning conservation here is essential for protecting species, safeguarding ecosystem services and supporting the communities who depend on nature for food, water and livelihoods.
